As I sit here in my office, there is some type of hostage/drug situation brewing across the street. Currently, there has been a bunch of unmarked cars as well as 4-5 police cars that have showed up…and this beast of a car. It’s pretty intense.

Exciting news on the Happy Ranch!
Yesterday at about 3:50pm, Nova gave birth to a baby cria. It’s a girl. She weighs 23.4 lbs and looks like she will be brown/gray. Mother and baby are doing fine. Baby was up on her feet within minutes and nursing within the hour. These are all good signs. Marcus was going out to feed his goat when he saw extra legs by Nova’s legs. He excitedly ran back to Grandpa shouting the news.
She had a good night and today is walking around more. She has a light brownish snout, two round light brownish circles below her eyes and her body looks gray/brown. Obviously she is lovely. Legs are straight and all looks well so far.
We are very excited. Several of our llama friends came right over last evening and we spent the evening chatting and oohing and awing in the covered stalls. It was celebration time!
