Happy autumn! I was a little tired out by some of the foods I’ve been doing a lot lately, so this week is pretty much all comfort food for me. It’s blustery outside, and we have a busy week. We have guests and special dinners, so I’m not cooking as much as usual. Oh, well–it’s not a normal occurence. I want bold, earthy flavors with lots of warmth. As always, if you’d like me to post a recipe to any of these, please let me know! Enjoy the menu.
Friday–Out at Aqui’s
Saturday–Out at La Fondue
Sunday–Rigatoni with an Apple and Smoked Sausage Sauce
Monday–Individual Trader Joes meals (like a burrito or falafel plate or something)
Tuesday–Phyllo Triangles filled with Shrimp and Crab and some veggie (I’m not sure what yet)
Wednesday–Teriyaki chicken, rice, steamed broccoli
Thursday–Roasted herbed chicken, potatoes (red, white and purple) and carrots
This week is unusual, so I’m not planning on posting the total cost. It will probably be around $25. Sorry for my lack of fun posting today. Things should be back to normal next week.
