This Week on the Menu 1/3

Well, it’s been a crazy holiday season. That includes the delayed-two-hours-and-arrived-at-10:30-at-night last night flight. More of all of that to come including pics! I’m sad to say that it’s back to the busy life for us. I only have a few precious days left of freedom, and even those are filled with last minute stuff. That’s okay. We really enjoy it. Anyhow, here’s the menu with links to recipes. Enjoy!

Friday–Going to a twelfth night party (a night early, I know), and I’m bringing the King’s Cake.

Saturday–Grilled Chicken tenderloins with Peanut Satay sauce, cucumber salad

Sunday–Island black bean soup made in the crockpot (I never made it from previous menus…I will this time! I hope.)

Monday–Tasty Lentil Tacos

Tuesday–Packaged meal of sort

Wednesday–Tuna Melts, carrot sticks

Thursday–Pasta (from my pantry) w/Sausage and Veggies

I can’t wait for friday (B is not the only reason ;) . This King’s cake sounds greatly intriguing. I hope I get the thingy in the cake.

Hmm…. I bestow a Fraser Score of 6/7! Lentil Tacos is not so appetizing as the best part is missing (the meat)

I’m excited to make the cake! I guess it’s not technically a cake as the cake part is made from puff pastry, but that’s even better. I’m a little nervous for the tacos too, but the recipe got rave reviews. We’ll just see.
