This Week on the Menu 10/13/08
So this week calls for warm, hearty foods as well as celebration over my husband’s birthday and new job! That leaves me with 5 necessary meals and a dessert.
Dinners:
1. Whole Wheat pasta w/ a creamy parsley pesto sauce ala Sarah Ikegami’s blog
2. Grilled and hickory smoked pork tenderloin with grilled bell peppers (These peppers are my very favorite food!)
3. Silky Black Bean Soup–see the recipe here
4. Peanutty Stir Fry with Chicken
5. Teriyaki Chicken Bowls w/ steamed Broccoli
Dessert–Whole Wheat Apple Crisp
