Somehow he found the catnip container and decided he really wanted in. Jenny heard this rustling in our bedroom and when she went down the hall to investigate and found the spare bedroom door wide open. When she went in to our bedroom, she discovered Logan, on his side gripping something with his paws. Here’s a picture:

That baby burro, Henry calls her Burrito, is wonderful. She comes up to us and lets us touch and pat her all over. And Bashful doesn’t mind at all. But Bashful did not like Smokey coming near her baby. She kept herding Crystal away and stomped her foot at Smokey who didn’t even care. No fear! Randy and family were here yesterday and Crystal let them pet her too. She is so precious.”

Sounds like she’s a keeper!

Her name is Crystal, Marcus named her. This morning, I looked out the upstairs office window and she was running fast all around the stall and kicking her heels up! And her momma, Bashful, joined right in playing with her. It was so cute. I haven’t seen Bashful move that fast in a long time. What a fast recovery from “burro” birth!
