Emma over at Charming the Birds from the Trees is hosting another Commitment to Loveliness, and I decided to participate! I have a very open day tomorrow and a good amount of projects to accomplish. So to keep loveliness in the midst of my heart and my home, here is the list of 5 commitments I am making for the week.

1. Read the epistle of Philippians every day!

2. Complete the Christmas cards and prepare them to be mailed next Monday.

3. Place fresh flowers throughout our home.

4. Keep yummy and healthy snacks available in the kitchen so that we won’t look for unhealthy convenience items.

5. Increase water based drink intake to 4-5 of our large glasses a day (about the amount doctor’s recommend).

Emma over on Charming the Birds from the Trees is hosting something called “a Commitment to Loveliness”. Here’s her description:

It’s time for another Commitment to Loveliness! This is a fun way to increase femininity and beauty in our lives each week without even trying! All you have to do is choose five things that you would like to work on or do during the week that will increase the loveliness in your life!

So here’s what I’ve decided!

1. Change out the summer quilt for the fall comforter. (and come up with some sort of plan for those bare walls!)
2. Take advantage of the end of summer and paint my toenails and fingernails.
3. Have a friend or two over for tea/coffee and strawberries.
4. Break out my fall table linens and decorations, and freshen up my home with them.
5. Begin and end each day thanking the Lord for something new.

Head on over to Charming the Birds from the Trees to read others’ commitments!
